The Ross Boddy/Carolyn Snowden Scholarship is awarded each May to a graduating student residing or attending school in Sandy Spring or its surrounding communities who shows the promise of achievement and dedication to the community.
The Sandy Spring Civic Association established the Ross Boddy/ Carolyn Snowden Scholarship in 2007 in recognition Mr. Ross Boddy and Mrs. Carolyn Snowden. These two longtime residents of Sandy Spring dedicated their lives to serving and advocating for the youth, elderly, disabled and everyone in the community to provided the best advantages.
The application deadline for the 2012 Boddy/Snowden Scholarship is APRIL 15TH
